On December 15, the Garden State director and Scrubs star shared a trailer for his latest film, starring Florence, Morgan Freeman, and Molly Shannon. Written and directed by Braff, A Good Person will be released in March and features an almost unrecognizable version of the Midsommer and Little Women star.
Florence Pugh and Zach Braff are more than just exes; they’re colleagues.
Previously announced in February 2021, the films stars Pugh as Allison, a woman who “falls apart” after being involved in an accident that killed her would-be sister-in-law. After her engagement and life end up in shambles, she finds herself face-to-face with the man who was meant to be her father-in-law (Freeman) at a recovery meeting for addicts.
In the trailer, the usual blonde can be seen chopping her character’s brunette hair into a shaggy wolf bob. Honestly, Pugh makes the meltdown makeover look effortlessly cool.
This project seems to be the cause of Pugh’s brunette pixie-cut mullet, which the Don’t Worry Darling star debuted back in October 2021. She first shared the dramatic hair transformation on Instagram with the caption “I did a thing.”
