Sheer or semi-sheer fashion is inescapable of late, but few looks have been as totally coverage-free as the lace slip Noah Cyrus wore in a stage performance that she posted on Instagram.
The first pic in Cyrus’ IG carousel shows her performing in the dress, but the second photo—a mirror selfie apparently backstage — offers a better view of the look in its entirety.
It’s a long, A-line dress of completely sheer white lace with a delicate floral pattern worn over a black thong. The lace is transparent enough that Cyrus’ belly button is clearly visible, not to mention everything else.
Honestly, props to her for putting together a look that is both chic and naked and for having the confidence to perform music on stage in it. I still go to the bathroom stall to change my clothes in the locker room at the gym.
Cyrus’ lengthy photo carousel also included scenes from a dive bar, a New York City walking action shot, and a short video of a different performance, in which Cyrus has swapped sheer bridal for head-to-toe witchy black. I approve of both looks, naturally. The singer captioned the photos simply, “I miss sleep.” Don’t we all, babe?
Sheer lace is definitely the vibe for Noah Cyrus’s The Hardest Part tour. For her Brooklyn Steel performance, the singer wore an Elvira-adjacent look of all black lace that also bared pretty much all, which she posted on IG with the simple caption, “thank you brooklyn .” Your move, Miley.
