Maya Jama to Munroe Bergdorf

The Fashion Awards – the most highly-anticipated event in the global fashion calendar – is officially back at the Royal Albert Hall, and as expected, there’s no shortage of epic looks to shout about.

The star-studded celebration – which raises money for the nurturing, designer-supporting BFC Foundation – spotlights the likes of Loewe’s Jonathan Anderson, Bottega Veneta’s Matthieu Blazy and Valentino’s Pierpaolo Piccioli, who are all contesting the the top gongs of the night.

Elsewhere, this year’s host Jodie Turner-Smith will be announcing Model of the Year, for which Adut Akech, Bella Hadid, Lila Moss, Paloma Elsesser and Quannah Chasinghorse are all in the running.

All very exciting, but it’s perhaps the designers’ muses walking the red carpet before the ceremony kicks off – the musicians, actors and editors – who serve up half the fun. These fashion stans are nothing if not devoted to a ~serious~ look.

Olivia Dean opened the festivities, so it was no surprise that her ‘fit was suitably fabulous. Following on from collaborations with Prada and Chanel over the course of the past twelve months, she opted for a Parnell Mooney custom gown with opera gloves and lilac bow detailing.

Joining her on the red carpet was AJ Odudu in Stella McCartney, Maya Jama in Sabina Bilenko Couture as styled by Georgia Medley, and Simone Ashley in 16Arlington, Florence Pugh in Valentino and Irina Shayk in H&M. Other major moments so far have come courtesy of Nuria Maa in rented Burberry, Sienna King in rented Roksanda and Solange Smith in rented Galva. Creds to the sustainable babes.
